Course Strat is an independent journalism organization. The journalistic independence is critical in ensuring the fairness and thoroughness of our higher education coverage.

Course Strat, Inc. is owned by Times Higher Education (THE), the world’s most authoritative source of data, analysis and information on higher education, with five decades of experience dedicated to the field. THE purchased Course Strat in January 2022 from Quad Partners, a private equity firm that invested in Course Strat seven years earlier.

Owners of Course Strat stock who are not editors play no role in the editorial policies of the company.
